Yes, you’re reading one of the many posts you’ve probably read about goals and a new year because that is what us bloggers (yes I finally have the confidence to actually call myself a ‘blogger’ )do when a new year starts. Haha, no but seriously I have found a new love and motivation to work on an action plan to work through these goals this year.
Before I share my own personal goals for 2018, I want to share with you what helped me last year in achieving my goals.
1. Define what success or achieving your goals means to you
There is definitely such a different definition of success for the world vs a Christians perspective.
Through 2017, I had to continually adjust my focus on glorifying God.
2. Choose a theme verse and/or word for the year
I did this last year and it really made a difference in my year. I suggest praying about this and its totally not too late to find a verse or word now. I’d love to hear if you’ve chosen one already.
My Theme Verse of 2018: Hebrews 12:2
My 2018 word: Focus
My 2018 phrase ( I just felt like adding this in too): Be joyful in Jesus
3. Have an action plan to achieve these goals
Set steps in place throughout the year to remind yourself of the goals
And on to my goals, to inspire you a bit.
1. Be Present
2. Stop Comparing
3. Be more joyful
5.Grow The Different Girl
I’ll be sharing more about my goals throughout the year, but that is the list for 2018.
Creating goals and actually sticking to them is so motivating and rewarding.
Lastly, I want to share with you Riley’s new blog! When I updated my blog I was so excited so I thought I needed to share Riley’s updated blog! Visit it here.
Wishing you a joy filled 2018,
