Best Books of 2017

December 4, 2017
I think we’ve all established I love a good book so I am so excited to share with you my favourites of 2017!
Reading has been up and down this year because sometimes I chose to watch something instead of reading. But lets chat about these books now.
1. Girl Defined by Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird
This book helped me so much- I learnt a lot. I re read this book again recently because I needed to remind myself of everything. I did a book review on it earlier on in the year.

2. Lipstick Gospel by Stephanie May Wilson
I am so glad that I found Stephanie and now get to follow along her journey. Her blog and now podcast seriously is one of my favourites. I really enjoyed her book and was encouraged by her story.

3. Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst
I also learnt a lot from this book. It was really encouraging and helpful to be reminded how God’s love changes everything and that because of this we can Live Loved.

4.Lies young women believe by Nancy Leigh Demoss and Dannah Gresh
Another learning book which literally blew my mind. It helped me see what lies I was really believing and equipped me with the truth to battle these lies.

5. The Coronation by Livy Jarmusch

This is the story of the oldest son, Prince Addison of Tarsurella getting ready to take the throne and rule his country. It includes all the events leading up to the event and continues into his first few months of being the King. The main characters are the Royal Family of Tarsurella, a family of 8 siblings and the King, the Queen is deceased. Each character has a different personality and brings something unique to the family. Other characters include the many staff members, friends and international guests, which some turn into close friends.
6.Girl Online Series by Zoe Sugg
I enjoyed these books because I could really relate to the main character Penny, in terms of blogging, photography and anxiety.

7. Regal Hearts: Season 1 by Livy Jarmusch
Its a fun story bringing together characters in different walks of life and seeing them connect through ordinary things. It gives you insight to what its really like to be a popstar, an armish girl and then I could relate to the average girl.

8. Devoted by Marjorie Jackson
This devotional book was really fun and made Bible Time even more enjoyable. I loved the topics and the colouring in pages.
