Lately I’ve had a lot of things on my heart about Blogging and YouTubing. So I wanted to write this post as a letter to myself as I can’t tell you all this without sharing with you that I am struggling a lot with specific things. Whether you’re a blogger or not I hope this encourages you to live your best life.
You’re blog represents you and your heart, and that’s okay! You don’t need to compare your heart with other bloggers because this is Jesus and you taking on blogging.
This is not for anyone else but only to glorify God.
It is not about the numbers, don’t focus and compare in this area because it is not the purpose and its not a popularity contest.
Your story can impact people and you can boldly share it.
Just because other people have more views, better writing skills or better pictures (in your eyes) doesn’t mean that your content isn’t good. Each person is unique and has different things to offer. As each persons story is different you don’t need to compare, you will all have different perspectives on life.
Your writing is better than you think, your voice is not the same as the bloggers you think are better.
Not everyone is going to love your content and that’s totally okay, God can use your voice to impact the people who need it.
There is no such thing as a perfect blog or blogger!
If you’re looking for perfection look to God-only He can satisfy and meet those standards.
Keep blogging, sharing your heart, pointing to God and being yourself.
Comparison is such a struggle for in a lot of areas in my life but through this post I thought it would help me deal with blogging comparison.
Don’t let the world dull your voice, use it to make a difference and ultimately glorify God.
If you would like to know some other things I’ve been learning through my blogging journey there is a free resource in the library that I hope can help.
