Is God really faithful?

Is God really faithful?

June 11, 2018

I was half asleep as my Dad came into my room to say goodbye to me before he left for work, as he does every morning. As he said goodbye, he mentioned that have an email. In my half asleep state I didn’t really register what that meant. When I checked my email, there was plane ticket for me.

No this is not a casual everyday occurrence. This is a BIG DEAL!

I think at least every second day I tell my mom about how I want to go on an plane, to anywhere! So when my dad found out he was going on a work trip to London, I hinted that it would be a good idea for me to go along;) plus I have the flexibility as I’m home schooled.

And so this trip became a reality. I only thought this opportunity would come up next year as I have the goal to go to America in 2019.

Through this past year and a half, God has brought me into a season that I never expected. He has challenged me and grown me in so many ways. But even though there have been so many good times, I do find life incredibly hard.

God has been through every day, the ups and the downs.

Is God really faithful?

I am such a different person to the girl who was pushing through 2016, desperate for a change, broken and crumbling. God gave me the hope at the darkest moments. There is so much more to this story that I haven’t shared.

The reason I share this story with you is to show you God really is faithful. In this season of waiting and so desperately wanting to get into the next even though this is much better than it was before. God kept showing up and showing me why He has me where He does(working on another post about seasons:).

This trip feels like God smiling down on me, saying He see’s my dreams, He sees the tears, He sees the hard work and He is going to keep carrying me through each day.

This is your reminder that He is so faithful, He is good all the time and He never lets us down.

For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
    your faithfulness reaches to the skies
